How We Can Help You
Individual Psychotherapy
If you want something in your life you’ve never had before, you have to do something you’ve never done before. I specialize in working with children, teens and adults with anxiety, OCD, depression, social anxiety, social skills issues, autism spectrum disorders, ADD/ADHD, and identity issues. I have a great deal of experience and interest in working with twins. I also specialize in Parent-Infant Education and early intervention for toddlers and preschoolers.
Specialized Fitness for People with Autism Spectrum Disorders
This is a niche subspeciality and I only accept a few clients for this service. I have developed an exercise program for reluctant exercisers on the spectrum to learn to exercise. The treatment modality combines Stanley Greenspan’s “Floortime/DIR” methodology with a traditional Bootcamp/HIIT exercise class. I call it “Bootcamp meets Birthday Party”. With appropriate time and effort, my clients learn how to do a FIIT exercise program and incorporate exercise into their lives and ultimately their identity.
Groups
After years of running psychotherapy groups, I have created “The Salon” as my practice vehicle for working on social skills and celebrating connectedness. This approach allows clients to meet more frequently and connect in the “real world” more readily. It provides a more comprehensive proving ground for making and keeping friends. The structure also more accurately reflects the reality of medical insurance reimbursement for group psychotherapy. Typically, group psychotherapy is quite expensive and is rarely reimbursed by health insurers. The Salon offers a gentler price point for clients. Salon details and gatherings are here.
